Virtual Art Tour

An aspect of the course Intro to Digital Humanities included a digital curation project. My group (table 3) chose to work closely with Otto and Natalie who are representatives of the art department here at UNH. Our cumulative goal was to create an interactive tour of all the art sculptures and murals around UNH.

Otto and Natalia expressed to us what they imagined for the map. Including aspects such as the theme, fonts, styles, information, and just all of the little details needed to make their vision come true.

After many days outside photographing the art pieces and other days spent inside writing out descriptions and researching the art, we were able to use Google My Maps to bring our map to life. There were a few obstacles along the way but in the end, we were all happy with the work we had created!

And our map was published onto the official UNH art department website which is pretty cool. :)
